Client Installation:

**Current game version is 0.9.29.0. If this is a fresh install for you, you can download version 0.9.22.0 client and then update it to 0.9.29.0. ** 

1. If you have installed earlier version SOL, please uninstall it first. To uninstall SOL, you just delete the installation folder. If it is very old version, you may need to uninstall it from Control Panel -> Add/Remove Program.     

2. Download the installer: The installer file is NSOLPC09220.exe and has size of about 1.1GB. We recommend that you use a resumable download manager(such as Free Download Manage or FlashGet) to  download the installer.

3. Install: click the installer to install SOL, use the Browse button to specify installation folder if you like, click Install button to extract files. If the installation folder doesn't exist, it will be created automatically for you. Free hard disk space requirement is 1.5G. The default installtion foler is C:Program FilesSmartCellShadow of Legend.

4. Update: When the instllation is finished, a SOL updater shortcut will be created on your desktop. SOL updater is a tool for automated update of any available patches. You should always run the updater before lauching SOL client. The updater window displays SmartCell->Pacific in the region list. To update, click Pacific, then click Update button. Alternatively, you can download and install patches manully.

5. Run the game: by default, the updater will lauch SOL client when it finishes updating, but you can change it in the Setting window. The SOL client is SOLClient.exe in the installation folder. You can run the client directly by clicking the SOLClient.exe. If all is well, the client will open a login window. Your SOL login is the same as your SmartCell login.
