    Union vs. Chaos Showdown
    [ 04/20/2009 ]

Shadow of Legend is set in a warring state in which two factions, Union and Chaos, struggle for power. We will hold contest between Union and Chaos on Tritesse on April 22 for fun.

    Event time: April 22, 19:00-20:00 PDT(server time).

    How it works:

    1.  GMs will be there to head the event. We ask each side to delegate two people to help with the event.

    2.  The contest starts at 19:00 server time(PDT). Participating players please inform GMs or their delegates at least 30 minutes early so GMs can work out the details.

    3.  We will use the arena as the filed and follow rules pertaining arena event. That is,

         1) The contest lasts at most 28 minutes - 2 minutes are reserved to count heads before

             the system empties the arena.

     2) Maximum number of players inside the arena is 50 while each side can't outnumber

the other side by two at any given time. As long as these conditions are met,

players who are waiting in queue can join an ongoing contest any time.

     3) Please note players killed in competition can't reenter until next round.

     4) Red-named players are not allowed in the arena.

     5) Players can't have full pack to enter the arena - it needs to have at least a couple of

         empty slots.

     6) Players can't use Flavorant or random scrolls in arena.

In addition, Participating players may not attack players of your own camp - this is a Union and Chaos fight!

    4. If one round can't accommodate all players, we will continue with the next round in which the surviving players and players who couldn't get into the first round will join the competition.

    5. The result is judged by number of players surviving the fight at the end.  That is, the side with more people standing wins the contest. The reward is calculated as 800 diamonds per killed players. We will add up other diamonds and evenly distribute it to players of the winning sides.

    6. GMs may improvise the details on the site, base on player suggestions. We really would like to make it a fun event, so please feel free to let us know what you think on the forums.
