| If there ever was a class that was beautiful, yet dangerous, it would be that of a mage. The Great God of Creation, Harmorris, once before had punished the inhabitants of Agnes for their abuse of the magic power that he had bestowed upon them. However, despite all his rage, he is a loving and forgiving god, and allowed the inhabitants to use a small amount - enough to communicate with the natural elements of earth and the Holy Book itself. These magic users, mages, quickly became respected figures in their communities for their relative affinity with the divine.
Mages are known for their lack of such qualities as strength and speed, and many would argue having these qualities are essential to survival. However, mages have honed a finer quality, which is the use of magic power. Whether affecting another with a passive or destructive force of magic, the magic used in fact causes the most powerful DPS (damage per second) during combat. This makes the mage a powerful asset to any team, easily reducing the life of a big bad boss or the number of baddies in battle. This also makes mages on par with archers when it comes to making long distance attacks.
