    Game Play

    1. Choose the server
    Once you've logged onto the game, a list of servers turns up on the screen, just choose one of them and press the Choose button below.

    2. Create a character
    Press New to start. 

    Firstly, you should decide which camp to join.


    For example, we choose the Chaos on the right. By clicking on the emblem, a window pops up to tell the story of this camp.
    Press the Create button to enter the detailed customization panel, where you can choose your gender, race and class. Make sure that you read the description on the right carefully, if you're serious enough.

    Then press the Create, look, your character is already there.

    You can have up to 5 characters.

    3. Start Playing
    Now, you can choose a character to enter the game. 

    During the game you can press Escape to enter the system setting panel, where you can make further adjustment or shift to another server. 

         

    4. Game interface 


    The main interface comprises of several functional areas.
    A: Character Attributes, including Name, Portrait, Level, Health Point and Mana Point, with the experience bar directly under it.
    B: Mini-map, surrounded by icons standing for Item Mall, Large Map, Mail, SOL Asst. and Skill current in use in a counterclockwise order starting but excluding  , which is used to hide this area.
    Your situation in the game is constantly shown on the mini-map through various marks, by which
    Red Diamond stands for Monster
    Yellow Diamond for NPC
    Bright Yellow Diamond for quest-giving NPC
    Blue Diamond for yourself
    Green Diamond for group mates
    Purple Diamond for quest-taking NPC
    Blue Dot for camp comrade
    Red Dot for rival camp gamer

    C. Chat Room
    Several channels are available for chatting with different people.

    You can talk to fellow SOL gamers from all over the world through the world channel, or through
    Camp, to gamers belonging to the same camp on the same server;
    Guild, to your guild members;
    Group, to the group members;
    Coze, to one particular gamer;
    Map, to all those on the same map;
    Local, to those within sight of each other, its' the default channel.

    D. Function Bar
    It integrates shortcuts to Character, Quest, Skill and community, system setting panels.

    E. Screenshot Tool
    This small button is very useful and convenient for capturing any moment during the game. The captured image is stored in png. format and could be found in the Screenshot file.

    F. Shortcut Bar
    You can literally drag any skill, food or mount into the bar, and these shortcuts combine with the buttons 1-9 and F1-F9 to maximize the convenience.

    6. Typical Game Control
    Targeting:
    Click once on a target to lock it as indicted by a red circle

    Attacking:
    Mouse-click on the locked target or press shortcut button to attack it

    Using Skills:
    Firstly, you have to make sure that you have acquired the skill if you want to put it to use.

    Press S to enter the skill panel, you can choose the highlighted skills and drag them into the shortcut bar, or left click on the icon to read the detailed description. (Note: there're two kinds of skills, active and passive, only the active ones could be added to the shortcut bar, while the passives skills are system generated.)

    Using Items:
    Press C to enter the inventory or backpack interface, select any available article to use. Similarly, you can add some of them into the shortcut bar too.

    Drops:
    There're always chances of drops like items or gold when a monster is killed, just click on the items or press spacebar to pick it up.
